At Desert Valley Pediatric Therapy, we believe that we have a responsibility as therapists to provide opportunities for students to learn and grow. DVPT's speech, physical and occupational therapists are willing to spend time with students at all levels, providing opportunities to observe therapy sessions in many different settings.

Throughout the year, there are several opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to shadow therapists in both the clinic and home-based settings. Students in need of observation hours to apply for a Master's program, or for an Assistant certification, can be matched with a therapist who is willing to provide an opportunity to shadow and ask questions. We give first consideration to graduate students needing to complete their clinical internships/externships, but we also try to accommodate those needing observation hours to apply for school.  
  

At the conclusion of their volunteer experience, all students will be provided a letter verifying their observation and interactive hours.
